About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary contact for clients and Plan Sponsors
- Lead, educate, and resolve client issues
- Establish and develop positive relationships with institutional clients
- Build internal working relationships to support service delivery
- Set strategic direction for plans and take ownership and accountability for client relationships
- Act as the client's trusted advisor and build relationships with senior decision makers
- Plan and conduct effective in-person and/or phone meetings
- Analyze and recommend plan design alternatives, including qualified and potentially nonqualified plans
- Facilitate discussions regarding legal, regulatory, investment, and plan design issues
- Coordinate internal resources to provide client analysis and recommendations
- Analyze investment architecture and provide appropriate alternatives
- Facilitate Investment Review meetings and collaborate with Investment Consulting
- Assist Plan Sponsors with plan corrections, operational defects, PSW navigation, literature, and contribution inquiries
- Resolve client problems and produce satisfactory outcomes
- Lead the Book of Business with support from Client Service Managers and Testing and Reporting Analysts
- Seek client feedback, anticipate concerns, and proactively provide solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate must hold Series 7 and Series 63 licenses
- 3-5+ years of Relationship Management or Client Service experience preferred, preferably within the Retirement/401K industry
- Retirement plan record keeping and administration experience
- Relationship management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and time leadership skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Presentation, influence, and negotiation skills
- Series 07 - FINRA certification
- Series 63 - FINRA certification
