About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with executives and management leaders of Workplace benefit plan clients
  • Co-create comprehensive wealth planning solutions tailored to executive clients’ needs
  • Support executives’ advanced planning needs in partnership with VP Executive Planning Consultants
  • Collaborate with Managing Directors, Benefits Planning Consultants, Benefits Relationship Managers, and other executive services associates
  • Deepen client relationships and help engage new executives
  • Deliver a seamless client experience
  • Refer executives with higher asset levels or more sophisticated planning needs to Vice President Executive Planning Consultants
  • Provide planning and guidance for Fidelity’s Workplace Investing executive clients
  • Address college planning, savings goals, early retirement planning, and other wealth planning needs
  • Incorporate executives’ benefits and plan provisions into the financial planning process
  • Explain how benefit changes could affect executives’ financial well-being
  • Provide product knowledge, financial planning, advice, and guidance to help executives achieve their goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses required
  • Insurance license required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation encouraged
  • CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation encouraged
  • Experience working with executives and employee benefit plans
  • Ability to understand clients’ unique financial situations and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Strong knowledge of brokerage, insurance, investment management, estate planning, financial planning, and retirement planning
  • Ability to use Fidelity’s planning, guidance, and service technology
  • Ability to comply with complex regulatory obligations imposed by required licenses
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills in one-on-one and group settings
  • Strategic thinking and ability to influence executive decision-making
  • Effective practice management and execution skills
  • Ability to introduce investment strategies and identify opportunities to consolidate additional assets
  • Commitment to outstanding customer experience
  • Knowledge of brokerage, insurance, money management, estate planning, financial planning, and retirement planning
  • Ability to engage executives through personal interactions and build relationships
  • Ability to incorporate executive benefits and unique plan provisions into the planning process
  • Ability to provide client-centered financial planning advice and guidance
  • Ability to understand corporate culture and executive needs
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
