Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build scalable applications and features using modern programming languages, databases, APIs, messaging, and user interfaces/front-end frameworks
  • Work on projects across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Write, test, and deploy code with team support
  • Use standardized and automated software development pipeline practices and technologies to move code safely and securely from development to production
  • Explore AI tools and apply them responsibly to engineering challenges
  • Collaborate with an engineering team to deliver solutions supporting customers’ long-term financial goals
  • Participate in a 10-week immersive transition program from college to a full-time engineering career

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have earned or be on track to earn a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field by April 5, 2027
  • Understanding of programming fundamentals and data structures
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Hands-on project or internship experience preferred
  • Ability to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Curiosity, asking great questions, and passion for fast and continuous learning
  • Must complete a skills assessment in Java or Python before progressing to the interview stage
  • Must be eligible to work without immigration sponsorship; Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship
