About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support Custody and Clearing clients’ use of Bond Beacon, Fidelity’s proprietary Fixed Income trading platform
Act as a Bond Beacon subject matter expert, resolving trade issues and identifying areas for improvement
Advocate for FCM clients with Bond Beacon Product and Technology teams to identify and develop platform improvements
Serve as FCM customers’ main point of contact for facilitating cancels, corrections, trade breaks, and order status with Bond Beacon contra parties
Source street inventory based on client need and execute fixed income trades on clients’ behalf
Assure appropriate compliance checks and reporting configuration align with client needs
Familiarize clients with Bond Beacon’s features, functions, and trading capabilities
Collaborate with the Bond Beacon Product team, FCM Trading & Operations, and ECN counterparties to support client use of the platform

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree required
Series 7 and 63 preferred; if not currently registered, such exams must be successfully passed within six months of hire
3-5 years of brokerage industry experience, preferably in Fixed Income trading or back-office operations
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and assist multiple distribution channels in a fast-paced trading floor environment
Capacity for effective client communication via phone and electronic channels
Proactive and analytical mindset, working collaboratively with sales team and clients
Comfort and proficiency with technology
Fidelity will not provide sponsorship for this position
