About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide planning and consulting to Higher Education, HealthCare, and non-profit organizations
- Improve the value of clients' benefits programs and ensure client satisfaction
- Build, maintain, and develop relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and C-suite committee members
- Manage a book of business comprising 25–30 Eastern-region clients with approximately $30m–$100m in defined contribution assets
- Seek feedback, anticipate client needs, and proactively provide solutions
- Engage key decision makers and advisors/consultants to understand client needs and opportunities
- Monitor trends impacting client satisfaction and develop response plans
- Maintain awareness of client business, competition, industry, and marketplace changes
- Lead external business planning and service reviews
- Position products and services to support clients' benefits goals
- Work with consultants on inquiries, plan sponsor presentations, plan design, products, technology, customer issues, fund changes, revenue requirements, pricing, thought leadership, and plan analytics
- Build long-term relationships with consultants and advisors in partnership with Consultant Relations
- Collaborate with business partners to drive operational accuracy, efficiency, and problem resolution
- Lead internal teams in resolving client problems and offering solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- 12+ years of overall work experience
- 5+ years of Participant or Client Service experience, preferably within the retirement industry
- Series 7 license required upfront
- Series 63 license required upfront
- Experience working directly with Tax-Exempt Plan Sponsors and Participants is helpful but not required
- Ability to work remotely and independently from a personal home-based office
- Ability to travel 25–50%
- No immigration sponsorship provided
