About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and execute cloud infrastructure, application, and data rehydration activities
Support business continuity, enterprise security, disaster recovery, regulatory compliance, data restoration, and operational recovery requirements
Restore archived, backed-up, or tiered data across Azure and AWS cloud platforms
Monitor, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure services across Azure and AWS
Execute end-to-end data rehydration and recovery activities
Restore data from Azure Blob Archive Tier, Azure Backup, Azure Recovery Services Vault, AWS S3 Glacier, and other long-term storage solutions
Monitor, manage, and optimize rehydration processes within defined SLAs
Coordinate with application, infrastructure, database, and business teams during recovery events
Track rehydration requests and provide restoration lifecycle status updates
Validate data integrity, completeness, and accessibility after rehydration
Document activities, recovery outcomes, and operational lessons learned
Provide operational support for Azure AKS, App Services, Function Apps, Storage Accounts, VMSS, Virtual Machines, Key Vault, Logic Apps, and networking services
Support AWS S3, EC2, and storage recovery solutions
Troubleshoot cloud platform, storage, networking, and application issues
Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages
Automate validation, reporting, and notification processes
Optimize recovery procedures to reduce restoration times and operational effort
Build and maintain monitoring, dashboards, alerting, and reporting capabilities
Analyze and remediate performance bottlenecks
Monitor storage utilization, recovery metrics, and operational KPIs
Develop operational reports and trend analysis
Support application troubleshooting for Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, and React applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
2 years of experience in Cloud Operations, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Operations
Hands-on experience with Azure storage services including Blob Storage, Archive Storage, Backup, and Recovery Services Vault
Knowledge of cloud data lifecycle management, backup strategies, and archival storage
Experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or other automation scripting languages
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience supporting applications built using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React

Availability for work hours Monday through Thursday, 1 pm EST to 12 am EST
