About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and deploy data solutions
Design, implement, and maintain processes, platforms, and products for clients
Analyze, decompose, debug, tune, refactor, and migrate legacy processes
Build, maintain, and tune stored procedures and complex SQL queries
Perform QA and testing
Build ELT pipelines and other data solutions using Python and related technologies
Design and implement single- and multi-tenant data solutions using database design and data modeling techniques
Collaborate with multiple teams in an Agile framework
Advocate for effective use of software and data
Support the implementation, launch, and ongoing maintenance of benefits-related microsites, tools, and online solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in Technology with 3 years in developing and deploying data solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing documentation
Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams
Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment
Self-organized and capable of managing priorities and delivering project outcomes independently with minimal oversight
Systems analysis background with emphasis on legacy process decomposition, debugging, tuning, refactoring, and migrations
Solid understanding of data analysis concepts and tools such as SQL, Python, and stored procedures
Experience building, maintaining, and tuning stored procedures and complex SQL queries
Highly proficient in QA and testing methodologies and concepts
Comfortable working within an Agile framework
Extensive SQL experience; knowledge of MySQL, SQLMI, and Snowflake preferred
Hands-on ETL/ELT experience, preferably Informatica for legacy applications; SnapLogic and Azure Functions are a plus
Experience with Python for building ELT pipelines or other scripting languages
Experience designing and implementing single- and multi-tenant data solutions using database design and data modeling techniques
Experience with CI/CD toolsets such as Jenkins, Jenkinscore, Udeploy, Git, and GitHub
Experience with Azure or AWS cloud concepts and fundamentals is a plus
Experience building scalable and robust data solutions for websites is a plus
Business Intelligence development experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plus
Development using DevAssist tools is a plus
