About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Workplace Investing outbound team
- Gain understanding of components of mainframe applications
- Deliver customer experience solutions
- Partner with team members to accelerate value delivery as a change agent, role model, and teacher
- Support team members in applying best practices and remove impediments to successful progression
- Work as a Mainframe Analyst in the U.S. within the Feedback Application in the Data Exchange Outbound space
- Collaborate with partners supporting existing applications and improve efficiency
- Ensure the technology team builds appropriate software solutions and components to improve customer experience
- Facilitate requirements flow from the business to the technology team
- Reduce requirements and design risk and costs associated with rework and redesign
- Keep technical knowledge current
- Help maintain team integrity
- Take ownership and accountability for determining work and ensuring committed delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 plus years professional experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions
- Deep knowledge of scrum tools – Jira
- Excellent systems analysis skills
- Demonstrable experience developing and authoring solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems
- Experience in Mainframe development using COBOL
- Knowledge of DB2, JCL, VSAM
- Knowledge of SAS, LINUX and DB2 application
- Experience working with APIs
- Knowledge of Python programming
- Exposure to Distributed Technology like JAVA, Angular will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of SQL, File-aid, SPUFI and Platinum is helpful
- Domain knowledge of Retirement Services is a plus
- Ability to mentor coach teams and individuals across contrasting functions, experiences, and geographies
- Ability to influence behavior without having organizational hierarchy
- Strong analytical, problem solving and change management skills
- Ability to brainstorm with teams on solutions to address challenges and roadblocks
- Excellent communication and people-interaction skills
- Organized and disciplined nature and continuous improvement mentality
- Efficiency in written and verbal communications and dedication to tailoring content to the appropriate audience
- Ability to rapidly assimilate business processes, goals and objectives and distill them into well-defined stories/requirements
- Flexibility to adjust your work schedule to accommodate both U.S. and India-based teams and associates
- Knowledge of technical solutions and back-end systems
