About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in Fidelity’s 10-week FIDTERN internship program
- Contribute to meaningful, real-world work and projects as a valued team member
- Work in Audit, Risk, Compliance, Compliance Technology, or Fidelity Global Security
- For Audit: support audit planning, testing/data analysis, documenting findings, and communicating findings to management
- For Risk: support regulatory and operational financial-risk activities, flag suspicious withdrawals or funds, and potentially investigate financial crimes
- For Compliance: navigate and manage the regulatory landscape, policies and procedures, risk assessment, and reporting
- For Fidelity Global Security: help keep Fidelity associates safe in collaboration with security professionals
- Participate in professional development, mentorship, and regional events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Analytical and critical thinking
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to evaluate information, identify patterns, and draw logical conclusions
- Strong presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Curiosity and desire to understand how businesses operate and manage risk
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Current college student (undergraduate or graduate) who will return to coursework after the summer internship
- Availability for the entire 10-week program from June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027
