About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Investigate and process general liability, third-party property damage, and bodily injury claims reported by marketplace users
- Learn how to handle OAI claims
- Interview claimants and witnesses to gather pertinent information and maintain detailed notes and records
- Add case and claim data in ServiceCloud and spreadsheets for accurate department reporting
- Complete investigations with all involved parties and build folders for Sr. Claims Analyst review and payment approval
- Learn Provider COI vetting and process Buyer site-specific COI work-order requests
- Maintain claims watchlist to help reduce future claim risk within the marketplace
- Help maintain and assist buyers with annual COI renewal mailings
- Assist in preparing claims for insurance companies as needed
- Update internal insurance processes and documentation as needed
- Coordinate with other internal departments and staff members as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Insurance claims background OR similar field where detailed investigations are critical to outcomes
- Strong interest to pursue a long-term insurance career
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively investigate, document, and organize findings in detail
- Customer service background or related role interacting directly with US-based customers
- Ability to stay patient and calm while delivering accurate results during high-stress situations
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail capabilities
