About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage weekly supplier payment runs and submit payments through the banking platform
  • Manage ad hoc/off-cycle payment runs
  • Process intercompany transfers across group entities, including debt-related transfers
  • Perform payment reconciliations and prepare payment proofs
  • Act as the main contact for banking transactions and administration
  • Set up and maintain roles and users across HSBC and other banking platforms
  • Prepare and post monthly payroll journals
  • Prepare bank reconciliation journals across the UK, Italy, Spain and Germany
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and save bank statements
  • Perform month-end reconciliations for trade payables, trade receivables and restricted funds
  • Reconcile revenue transactions
  • Support cashflow forecasting and monitoring
  • Support project finance utilisation request processes, including invoice reconciliation and documentation
  • Provide administrative support for project financing banking setup and account maintenance
  • Support the group debt model and liaise with Treasury on cash positioning and payment demand
  • Prepare monthly KPI reports
  • Support payment automation and automate bank journal posting in NetSuite
  • Resolve Pleo and TravelPerk payment and banking queries
  • Respond to ad hoc audit queries

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in cash management, ideally multi-entity or multi-currency
  • Strong bank reconciliation and payments experience
  • Experience processing intercompany transfers
  • Comfortable working with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is essential
  • Confident communicator able to support external stakeholder processes such as lender and adviser documentation
  • Highly organised and able to manage recurring deadlines without close supervision
  • 3 years of experience in accounts payable/banking administration is essential
  • Exposure to project finance drawdown/utilisation processes (desirable)
  • Experience working across UK and European entities (desirable)
  • Advanced Excel/spreadsheet skills (desirable)
  • Experience improving or automating processes (desirable)
