About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the Community Alarm installation team to enable vulnerable people to live independently in the community
- Work as a Telecare Supervisor within the Home Care Associated Services Team of Fife Health and Social Care Partnership
- Manage team performance and organise supervision
- Conduct six-monthly direct observations and direct observations of team members
- Coordinate Community Alarm and Telecare installations and maintenance
- Support staff, service users, external providers and staff
- Ensure staff have appropriate training and skills to deliver quality and safe care
- Provide on-site training, demonstrations and advice
- Provide guidance and instruction so staff practice safely and effectively
- Manage staff absence according to local procedures
- Work with Health and Social Care Partnership colleagues and partnership agencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards
- Ability to undertake shift working
- Previous Care at Home experience
- Awareness of the Health and Social Care Standards
- Leadership skills
- Required to register with Scottish Social Services Council within 3 months of starting employment
- Required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland before appointment confirmation
- Must complete any qualification required to maintain SSSC membership within the specified timeframe
- Must provide a Supporting Statement; applications without one will not be progressed
