About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the delivery of building improvement and accommodation projects
- Develop and review layout drawings, specifications and project information
- Coordinate meetings and maintain accurate project records
- Produce progress updates and reports for project stakeholders
- Work with Council services, Business Technology Solutions, Facilities Management and external suppliers
- Manage Accommodation Change Requests and ensure actions are progressed
- Support stakeholder engagement and reflect operational requirements in project planning
- Coordinate IT requirements and equipment procurement associated with accommodation changes
- Assist with workplace utilisation surveys, reports and project implementation activities
- Act as the day-to-day contact for Asset Management improvement projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education to SCQF Level 7, including HNC, Advanced Highers or equivalent qualification
- Continuing professional development in a relevant area
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication, influencing and team-working abilities
- Ability to analyse issues and identify practical solutions
- Experience of working towards multiple objectives and deadlines
- Experience supporting medium to large-scale projects
- Strong IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer-focused services
- Experience supporting accommodation changes, workplace projects or property-related initiatives would be advantageous
- Ability to travel between Council locations as required
