About the role

- Work under general supervision of the Administrative Judge or designee
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctorate Degree
- Applicants licensed in the State of Florida with five years' experience will be considered at a starting pay of $6,338.68 per month
- Applicants licensed in the State of Florida with less than five years legal experience will be considered at a starting pay of $5,416.62 per month
- Applicants who have not passed the Florida Bar must be a member of the Florida Bar within a year of hire
- Knowledge of legal principles, statutory and case law, court rules and procedures
- Legal research skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of legal publications and ability to use them efficiently
- Ability to reason logically and analytically
- Ability to grasp, comprehend, and analyze complex legal issues and complicated factual details
- Ability to perform exacting work and attend to issues in matters before the court
- Exceptional reading skills
- Ability to digest and communicate ideas and concepts orally and in writing
- Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, impartiality, and honesty in handling matters before the court
- Ability to work effectively with others
- A Circuit 5 Application is required
