About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect and implement highly scalable and resilient infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Design and lead advanced CI/CD pipelines focused on efficiency and security
- Lead incident and operational excellence initiatives, developing runbooks and procedures and guiding teams
- Implement comprehensive automation strategies across the software delivery lifecycle
- Design and implement centralized monitoring and logging solutions with proactive alerting
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical infrastructure and deployment issues
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers
- Collaborate strategically with development and security teams to ensure seamless integration and adherence to best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of progressive experience as a DevOps Engineer with significant experience architecting and implementing complex DevOps solutions
- Deep experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration
- Expert proficiency in DevOps practices and tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Spinnaker, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and infrastructure automation capabilities
- Strong mastery of Python, Bash, Terraform, and CloudFormation
- In-depth knowledge of networking, security principles, and compliance requirements
- Extensive experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, centralized monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives
- Strong automation-first mindset and strategic approach to improving efficiency
- Customer-centric approach to infrastructure design and implementation
- Strong team player able to influence technical direction
- Demonstrated discipline and reliability
