About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the month-end close process for FinanceWithin clients
- Work as a consultant with clients and support client success
- Assemble monthly financial packets and present financial statements to clients
- Oversee month-end closing and accounting activities
- Circulate financial management reports, monthly financial statements, annual audits, and annual budgets
- Project and update cash flow and communicate cash position to clients
- Create financial packages, including margin recognition and transaction reconciliation/recording
- Manage inventory, reconciliations, accruals, samples, adjustments, obsolescence, and purchase orders
- Reconcile bank, credit card, PayPal, Stripe, and other payment accounts
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain amortization schedules
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, AR aging reports, and AP in Bill.com or related software
- Manage client payroll
- Support FinanceWithin management and provide accounting consulting
- Perform general ledger accounting, financial analysis, financial reporting, profitability analysis, and special projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience in full cycle accounting
- 2+ years of experience in a multi-client or consulting role
- Advanced in QBO and Xero
- Experience with e-commerce is a big plus (Shopify, PayPal, Bill.com, etc.)
- Firm grasp of accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Proactive and team-centric attitude
- Located in the United States
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
