About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, security, and scalability of critical services
  • Manage and maintain AWS cloud environments and Kubernetes clusters
  • Monitor environments and ensure observability using Datadog, Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, or Signoz
  • Proactively plan and manage infrastructure upgrades and lifecycle activities
  • Participate in incident response, from investigation through post-mortem, with a focus on eliminating root causes
  • Propose optimizations to processes, tools, and architecture
  • Create and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Automate routine and operational tasks with Python, Go, or Shell
  • Implement infrastructure and delivery pipeline security best practices
  • Collaborate with development, security, and compliance teams, including client teams
  • Participate in client rituals, lead GMUDs, and produce technical documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience with Kubernetes and cluster management (at least 3 years)
  • Strong knowledge of AWS
  • Proven experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Experience with observability and log management tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, ELK, Signoz, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture
  • Experience with mission-critical and high-availability environments
  • Knowledge of cloud application and delivery pipeline security
  • Experience with DevOps practices and agile methodologies
  • Experience with Python or Go for automation and pipeline creation (a plus)
  • Experience in regulated environments, such as the financial sector and Central Bank regulations (a plus)
