About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop full-stack applications using Java and Spring Boot
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
Develop modern, responsive front-end applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and React or Angular
Design and deploy cloud-based solutions within AWS
Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases
Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing applications
Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support
Work within CI/CD and Agile development environments
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product teams, and other engineering teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
Experience developing REST APIs and microservices
Strong front-end development experience with React or Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript
Hands-on AWS experience with services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, or similar
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and modern DevOps practices
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Kubernetes experience (nice to have)
Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation (nice to have)
Experience with Kafka or other event-driven/messaging technologies (nice to have)
Experience working with high-volume enterprise applications (nice to have)
Media & Entertainment industry experience (nice to have)
Ability to work onsite in Culver City, CA three days per week
U.S. citizenship/permanent residency or employment eligibility to work in the United States
