About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Produce high-quality product imagery for B2B and digital channels
  • Manage sample organisation and pre-production planning
  • Photograph flat lays and product details according to brand guidelines
  • Edit, colour match/correct, retouch, resize and export imagery
  • Upload, tag and maintain photographic assets in the Digital Asset Management platform
  • Manage metadata, categorisation, file naming, storage and archiving
  • Organise and care for product samples in the studio
  • Prepare and deliver final assets in required formats
  • Support the Senior Photographer on seasonal shoots with sample management, steaming, equipment preparation, lighting setups and post-production
  • Maintain and correctly store studio photographic equipment
  • Manage photography workload and asset delivery to agreed deadlines
  • Collaborate with Senior Photographer, Creative, Marketing, Buying and Wholesale teams
  • Apply Finisterre’s visual identity consistently across product photography
  • Ensure garments are represented accurately while maintaining an on-brand aesthetic

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge and experience in studio photography, including camera operation, exposure and technical camera capabilities
  • Technical understanding of studio lighting, including setting up, operating and maintaining consistent lighting setups
  • Experience photographing products, ideally including flat lays and garment details
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to retouch, colour correct, colour match, resize and export imagery to required specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to represent garments accurately and consistently
  • Understanding of accurate colour representation and colour matching in commercial product photography
  • Highly organised and methodical, with understanding of image workflows, file naming, storage and archiving
  • Ability to manage assets from capture through final delivery
  • Ability to manage tasks accurately across a high volume of product imagery
  • Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a busy studio environment
  • Comfortable preparing and steaming garments, handling samples, maintaining equipment and organising the studio
  • Positive, reliable team player who communicates effectively
  • Proactive approach to learning photography techniques, equipment and workflows
  • Desirable: professional photography, e-commerce, fashion or product studio experience
  • Desirable: Capture One experience
  • Desirable: high-volume commercial photography workflow experience
  • Desirable: large-scale image library or structured commercial asset workflow experience
