About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the Salesforce platform end to end for over 100 users across 7 key teams
- Build and maintain Apex code, triggers, classes, asynchronous processing, test coverage, and Flow automation
- Own the integration layer, including connected tools, APIs, and middleware
- Design, run, and maintain ETL and reverse-ETL pipelines between Salesforce, the data warehouse, and the broader technology stack
- Maintain the connected stack, including Outreach, Modjo, Kubaru, Lusha, Clay, Hightouch, and other tools
- Make architecture decisions and determine when to use declarative automation versus code
- Review technical debt and set technical standards
- Work alongside the Salesforce Administrator and Data Ops Analyst as the technical reference point
- Enable sales teams to perform day-to-day work in Salesforce through data, actions, AI, and automation
- Contribute as an individual contributor with possible progression toward technical leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years Salesforce Sales Cloud development experience supporting commercial teams
- Strong Apex development, including triggers, classes, asynchronous processing, governor limits, and testing
- Strong Flow development and judgement about when to use Flow versus code
- Deep understanding of Salesforce permissions, sharing models, and data architecture
- Hands-on experience building and owning ETL and reverse-ETL processes
- Experience using AI in work, preferably Agentforce or Claude
- At least one AI project delivering clear and demonstrable value to a stakeholder team
- Ability to turn vague requests into specifications and challenge inappropriate solutions
- Fluent English
- Ability to work independently and take accountability
- Bonus: Salesforce Service Cloud experience
- Bonus: Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification
- Bonus: Experience with Outreach, Clay, or Hightouch
- Bonus: Experience with Databricks, BigQuery, or Snowflake
- Bonus: Experience in Fintech, banking, or other highly regulated environments
