About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and build new features for the Android application used by business owners across Europe
- Architect and implement solutions for multi-account cash flow management
- Develop banking transactions and payments functionality
- Build physical and virtual card issuance, activation, and control features
- Implement AI-powered accounting automation
- Build polished, responsive UIs using Jetpack Compose
- Own code quality, performance, and stability through automated testing and thorough code reviews
- Collaborate with Backend, QA, Design, and Product teams on end-to-end solutions
- Drive technical decisions within the domain and identify opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices
- Mentor engineers and help shape architecture decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of commercial Android development experience
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin; Java knowledge is a plus
- Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID, and Clean Architecture
- Experience with MVI, MVVM, and MVP presentation-layer patterns
- Experience with RxJava and Kotlin Coroutines / Flow
- Experience with Dagger 2, Hilt, or Koin
- Experience with Retrofit
- Experience with Cicerone or Jetpack Navigation Component
- Experience with Jetpack Compose
- Practical experience with Firebase, including FCM, Analytics, and Crashlytics
- Experience with feature-module architecture in production
- Confidence with Git / GitLab, including maintaining GitLab CI/CD
- Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences
- Fintech or financial products background is a nice-to-have
- Mobile security best practices are a nice-to-have
- Performance profiling and optimization experience is a nice-to-have
- Experience with Android Profiler, Perfetto, Baseline Profiles, or similar is a nice-to-have
- Published Google Play apps are a nice-to-have
- Active GitHub profile is a nice-to-have
- Experience with AI agents, LLM tools, and AI-powered IDE tools is a nice-to-have
