About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the product strategy for Defaqto's portfolio of financial adviser technology solutions
- Define and deliver the vision, strategy, and commercial performance of the Adviser Technology product portfolio
- Bring multiple SaaS products together into a compelling market proposition
- Drive exceptional customer outcomes and sustainable business growth
- Work with senior stakeholders, including the Executive Committee, on investment decisions, roadmap prioritisation, and product innovation
- Own product strategy, planning, investment, delivery, and ongoing performance for the financial adviser SaaS product portfolio
- Deliver a coherent portfolio proposition for the market
- Maximise the products' performance in terms of financial decisions influenced, revenue, and product profitability
- Identify opportunities to extend or enhance the product range and bring new products to market
- Own product and portfolio vision and strategy, including roadmap prioritisation
- Deliver market and customer intelligence
- Own the portfolio P&L and product investment cases
- Measure and improve end-to-end product performance
- Report to the Chief Product Officer
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working in the UK financial advice sector with strong working knowledge of the regulatory landscape
- Experience as a Head of Product, Product Director or Senior Product Manager in a small to medium-sized firm
- Demonstrable success developing and growing an outstanding SaaS product
- Experience managing a portfolio of technology products
- Proven success delivering high-quality digital user experiences that delighted end users and performed ahead of the competition
- Appreciation and understanding of high-quality user-centric product design
- Detailed knowledge of marketing, sale, expansion, operation, and support of digital products
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience owning the P&L for a SaaS product and creating financial forecasts and investment cases
- Experience working in a small to medium-sized business
- Ability to build relationships, network, and influence stakeholders including the Executive Committee
- Ability to work at pace
- Collaborative approach
- Must already hold a legal right to work in the UK without time restrictions and without the need for future sponsorship
- Unable to provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship
