About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute and maintain site-specific quality assurance functions
- Conduct in-process inspections of garments for compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Identify, report, and assist in resolving nonconforming materials and products
- Prepare samples for compliance submission and testing
- Review and communicate findings from Returned Goods Authorizations (RGAs) and customer complaints
- Collaborate with production and quality teams on corrective and preventive actions
- Support internal audits and participate in external audits as needed
- Support proactive Quality Improvement projects
- Prepare and maintain quality reports and metrics for site leadership and the Quality Manager
- Promote quality and continuous improvement throughout the site
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in garment or textile manufacturing
- Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and inspection techniques
- Highly skilled in Microsoft applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and ability to learn new software programs and systems
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including overnights
- Experience with problem solving
- Ability to work positively in teams and possess self-accountability
- Open and effective verbal and written communication and collaboration with all levels of the organization
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Strong sense of urgency, follow-through, and diligence
- Ability to meet deadlines and remain organized while tracking multiple sources of information and data
- High attention to detail and proficiency in record-keeping
- Flexibility in day-to-day work
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am–4:30 pm, and Friday, 7:00 am–11:00 am
