About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and lead photo and video shoots for multiple clients with the Head of Content
- Develop shot lists and manage pre-production logistics, prop coordination, location scouting, and scheduling
- Shoot high-end, professional studio-style content, including product shots and standalone assets, across food, beverage, and product categories
- Direct on-set activities to align content with brand identity, client specifications, and technical standards
- Edit photo and video assets for organic and paid social, web, print, and PR channels
- Handle video editing, color grading, photo retouching, and touch-ups for every project
- Write creative briefs and shot lists for each shoot
- Apply Firebelly's content approach through strong hooks, clear subjects, purposeful pacing, and satisfying payoffs
- Support scripting, storyboarding, casting, and location scouting
- Maintain folder structure and file naming conventions
- Coordinate with Account Managers and the Paid Social team on content ideation and shoot scheduling
- Ensure content meets brand guidelines and client expectations from concept through final delivery
- Report to the Head of Ops and work directly with Account Managers and the Paid Social team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of professional videography and photography experience with a concentration in food and beverage or product-based work; less experience may be considered with a strong portfolio
- Strong, varied portfolio demonstrating photography and videography/editing; portfolio link requested
- Own professional-grade camera, lighting, and editing equipment
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and/or DaVinci Resolve
- Hands-on camera and lighting skills, including shot composition, stability, and multi-camera setups
- Strong post-production skills, including video editing, color grading, and photo retouching and touch-ups
- Ability to write clear creative briefs and turn briefs or content calendars into compelling shot lists
- Working knowledge of channel specifications across organic and paid social, web, and print
- Knowledge of trends and short-form video best practices for TikTok, Reels, Stories, and Shorts
- Availability for a regular part-time schedule of up to 20-30 hours per week, with reasonable notice for shoots
- Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple clients and shoots
- Ability to give and receive direct feedback and exercise judgment about client-ready work
- Bold creative instinct with a high bar for polish and craft
