About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to process improvement and implementation methodology focused on getting customers to value quickly
- Provide thought leadership on API integration for Automation and Workflow management and delivery
- Account for proposed decisions and act as an expert in implementing proposed solutions
- Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses
- Partner with users to define and analyze problems and align appropriate technical, application, or configuration solutions
- Develop, document, and manage requirements gathering and detailed design/business processes through the project life cycle and change control
- Review system test plans and test applications to ensure successful test cycles
- Partner with end users to select or create test scenarios and validate implemented solutions against requirements
- Serve as a functional and technical resource for project teams and establish LOE and duration estimates
- Build architecture best practices
- Support both pre-sale and post-sale customer journey phases while working with customer security architects, infrastructure specialists, and engineering teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or equivalent practical experience
- Two or more years of business analysis and consulting experience – to or within large corporations, relating to enterprise software implementation and change management
- Two or more years of experience designing and implementing client-facing solutions
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions, including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS
- Familiarity with C++, Java, Python, Perl, or another programming language
- Experience implementing solutions using API Management Platforms
- Experience in technology architecture and implementation on the ServiceNow platform
- Experience across all phases of the SDLC and Agile software development practices
- Experience with incident management, service request, problem management, change management, discovery, and CMDB
- Experience designing application deployments on public (AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud setups
