About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the design, implementation, and operation of AWS infrastructure and shared platform services
- Build, maintain, and improve infrastructure-as-code tools and best practices
- Configure and troubleshoot AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers, DNS, and connectivity
- Automate routine operational tasks through scripting, reusable modules, and standard workflows
- Monitor platform health, investigate incidents, and participate in on-call or escalation support as part of a shared team rotation
- Apply security, reliability, availability, cost, and compliance practices to cloud infrastructure and operational processes
- Collaborate with application engineering, security, networking, SRE, and service management teams to resolve issues and deliver platform improvements
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, infrastructure standards, and operational procedures
- Participate in code reviews, infrastructure reviews, technical planning, and continuous improvement of team processes
- Contribute to reusable, self-service platform capabilities for application teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered
- 3–5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, site reliability engineering, systems administration, or a related infrastructure role
- Professional experience supporting AWS environments in development, test, or production
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools and systems
- Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, networking, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines
