About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain automated employee onboarding, role-transition, and offboarding workflows across On-Prem AD, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and SaaS applications
  • Implement dynamic group rules, attribute-based access control, and Entra ID governance policies
  • Ensure UPN/primary SMTP synchronization and casing rules
  • Administer and optimize hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Manage Exchange Hybrid cutovers/migrations, E5 license provisioning, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Configure and maintain Microsoft Intune compliance policies, configuration profiles, and Windows Autopilot deployment pipelines
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and Azure Automation Runbooks using Managed Identities and Azure Key Vault
  • Build Microsoft Graph API and webhook integrations connecting ITSM tools with identity platforms
  • Integrate Virtual Agents and Conversational AI with Jira Service Management for ticket triage, self-service access fulfillment, and knowledge-base deflection
  • Build automated runbook triggers from JSM requests and approval gates
  • Enforce Zero Trust principles through Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and JIT access
  • Conduct automated audits of mailboxes, privileged roles, distribution lists, and access logs for SOX/ISO audit readiness
  • Partner with IT leadership on IT operational transformation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Systems Administration and IT Operations with a strong focus on identity management and automation
  • Expert knowledge of Entra ID (Azure AD), Hybrid Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO), and Microsoft 365 (E5) Suite
  • Proficient in Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Exchange Hybrid / EAC, Conditional Access, and Entra PIM
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting, including modular scripting, error handling, and remote execution
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Automation, Hybrid Workers, Runbooks, Microsoft Graph API, and REST APIs
  • Experience with Jira Service Management (JSM) automation rules, webhooks, and asset management
  • Exposure to Virtual Agents, AI Chatbots, or conversational self-service workflows
  • Proven experience managing credentials securely using Azure Key Vault and enterprise password managers
  • Strong understanding of RBAC, least privilege, and compliance auditing standards
  • Valid NBI clearance required for external candidates
  • Preferred certifications: SC-300, MS-102, or AZ-104
