About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative support to Business/Commercial Bankers throughout the loan process
  • Assist with loan and credit underwriting documentation, including title work and appraisals
  • Initiate and build loan documentation using loan operating software
  • Verify initial loan file details, orders, collateral, and disclosures for completeness and accuracy
  • Coordinate with title and insurance companies as needed
  • Liaise between bankers and internal departments to coordinate client requests and resolve inquiries
  • Collaborate with related internal departments as loans progress
  • Serve as a resource for funding and post-funding questions
  • Process business banking products from application to origination
  • Complete advances, initiate wire requests, process lien releases, and make advances, payments, and transfers
  • Monitor in-process loan files for complete and accurate underwriting documentation
  • Assist in preparing credit packages for underwriting submission
  • Monitor current and paid business loan files for proper maintenance
  • Monitor reports, provide loan payoffs, and release collateral
  • Assist with annual reviews and discrepancy lists
  • Attend team meetings and training opportunities
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or the equivalent
  • Experience with lending administration and documentation is preferred
  • Knowledge of banking concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Understanding of loan policy and guidelines
  • Ability to interact with customers, bankers, and other professionals
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, attention to detail, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to use loan operating software
  • Ability to remain current on system, process, product, and regulatory changes
  • Ability to attend team meetings and training opportunities
  • Ability to comply with FBT policies and procedures
  • Ability to adhere to compliance procedures and complete required compliance training
