About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Source, compile, interpret, and analyze data for accuracy and efficiency
- Communicate data analysis output effectively
- Provide daily support for business operations by responding to inquiries and identifying issues
- Improve standard practices and assist with implementing recommended modifications and enhancements
- Serve as an analytics resource to the wider organization or business units
- Determine business needs through analysis and reporting
- Suggest strategies to achieve company and department goals
- Assist in creating specifications, project plans, and documentation for business initiatives
- Produce reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities
- Convey patterns, problems, and areas for improvement
- Support research, analytics, projects, strategy, process review and improvement, and technology enhancements
- Attend professional development, informational, networking, and community service events
- Complete an assigned project to improve a process or solve a problem and present it at the end of the internship
- Prepare a wrap-up presentation for the division leader and key stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience
- Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution during the summer program
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the program
- Ability to work within a commutable driving distance of the Raleigh, NC office
- Adaptability
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Preferred: Business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics, Finance and/or Data Science degree
- Preferred: Rising junior or rising senior
- Preferred: 3.0 minimum GPA
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Positive attitude, curiosity, and ability to collaborate
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to adapt and adjust priorities based on business needs
- Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
