About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work as part of a Deal Team on live transactions, supporting credit underwriting and portfolio management
  • Perform financial analysis and credit memo preparation
  • Build Excel financial models for solar, wind, gas and battery storage projects
  • Conduct due diligence on power projects, including company and industry analysis and review of engineering, market, insurance and transmission studies
  • Complete and present a capstone project to improve a process or solve a problem
  • Prepare internal credit memoranda
  • Prepare marketing materials for potential clients and other lenders
  • Participate in internal credit approval meetings and client/customer calls, as appropriate
  • Attend professional development and informational sessions, networking and community service events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 years' experience in Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution (during time of the internship program)
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution during the internship program
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program
  • 3 years of college experience (rising senior) (preferred)
  • 3.0 GPA or higher (preferred)
  • Major in a quantitative field including engineering, finance, accounting or economics (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills (preferred)
  • Interest in renewable energy (preferred)
  • Critical thinking
  • Communication (written & verbal)
