About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform financial modeling in Excel for E&P, midstream, and compression companies
  • Conduct due diligence on projects, including company and industry analyses and review of engineering reports
  • Prepare internal credit memorandums
  • Prepare marketing materials for potential clients
  • Work as part of a Deal Team on live transactions, supporting credit underwriting, portfolio management, financial analysis, and credit memo preparation
  • Participate in internal credit approval meetings and client/customer calls as appropriate
  • Attend professional development, informational, networking, and community service events
  • Complete and present a capstone project designed to improve a process or solve a problem at the close of the internship

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution during the summer program
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the program
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Critical thinking
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical/data skills
  • Preferred: 3 years of college experience (rising senior)
  • Preferred: Major in a quantitative field including engineering, finance, accounting, or economics
  • Preferred: Strong interest in oil and gas
  • Preferred: Strong verbal and written communication skills
