About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work as part of a Deal Team on live transactions
- Participate in credit underwriting and portfolio management
- Perform financial analysis and prepare credit memoranda
- Build Excel financial models for solar, wind, gas, and battery storage projects
- Conduct due diligence, including company and industry analysis and review of engineering, market, insurance, and transmission studies
- Complete and present a capstone project to improve a process or solve a problem
- Prepare internal credit memoranda
- Prepare marketing materials for potential clients and other lenders
- Participate in internal credit approval meetings and client/customer calls as appropriate
- Attend professional development, informational, networking, and community service events
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 years' experience in Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution (during time of the internship program)
- Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution during the internship program
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program
- 3 years of college experience (rising senior) (preferred)
- 3.0 GPA or higher (preferred)
- Major in a quantitative field including engineering, finance, accounting or economics (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communications skills (preferred)
- Interest in renewable energy (preferred)
- Critical thinking
