About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate, enhance, and maintain technology performance data warehouse solutions, reporting capabilities, and analytics platforms
Develop and support data structures, processes, and applications for technology performance metrics and operational insights
Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements aligned with system architecture and enterprise technology standards
Develop and maintain data ingestion processes integrating technology platforms, operational systems, vendor applications, and other internal and external sources
Support source-to-target mappings, data integration requirements, and data movement processes
Develop and maintain API, database connectivity, and file-based interfaces
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes that transform source data into trusted analytics-ready datasets
Apply business rules, data validations, standardization processes, and transformation logic
Design and maintain analytical and dimensional data models for reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and KPI measurement
Maintain historical data repositories and snapshot methodologies for trend analysis, forecasting, benchmarking, audits, and long-term performance measurement
Develop data quality controls, validation procedures, reconciliation processes, and monitoring solutions
Provide technical support to production data warehouse and analytics environments
Monitor data processes, data flows, and scheduled jobs; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions
Lead major projects, delegate tasks, and ensure quality outcomes
Develop automation for data processing, validation, monitoring, reporting, and operational support
Support CI/CD and deployment automation practices
Create and maintain technical documentation, mappings, process flows, architecture diagrams, procedures, and implementation plans
Participate in Agile planning, sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, estimation, and project execution
Mentor and train associates and serve as a technical resource for management, associates, and business partners
Collect and analyze data related to user requests and business requirements to determine scope, estimates, dependencies, and system impacts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 10 years' experience
Advanced SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning
Experience with Oracle database technologies and data warehouse environments
Advanced ETL/ELT development and support experience
Advanced Python or similar programming language experience for automation, orchestration, and data engineering
Experience with data ingestion, source integration, and API-based data acquisition
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and best practices
Experience developing and maintaining analytics-focused and dimensional data models
Experience with historical data management and snapshot-based reporting
Experience implementing data quality controls, reconciliations, and validation processes
Experience with pipeline orchestration and automated workflow management
Experience with cloud-based data technologies, preferably AWS
Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, observability, and production support processes
Advanced Git or similar source code repository systems experience
Experience with CI/CD processes and deployment automation
Advanced Jira, ServiceNow, or similar work management and support platform experience
In-depth knowledge and experience with SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
Ability to drive consensus among cross-functional roles, resolve conflicting situations, and drive effective business and technical outcomes
Ability to participate in an on-call support rotation as needed
