About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead implementation of enhancements for the quality, management, and storage of enterprise data
Execute initiatives improving profiling, exception reporting, issue resolution, and Enterprise Data Warehouse fixes
Build dashboards to modernize analytics and assist management with special data projects
Enforce data policies and procedures across the enterprise
Gather associate feedback to identify improvements in data management capabilities
Complete month-end validations of reporting data for quality and completeness
Assist with training or mentoring less experienced consultants
Facilitate strategies to develop the Bank's data management capabilities
Assist management with strategic planning and implementation
Work cross-functionally to mature department presence within Bank business units
Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies and trends affecting financial services
Create and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouse documentation, including source-to-target mappings and data dictionaries
Identify and create centralized business-critical reports
Provide expert consultation to team members, Information Technology, the Bank's Data Council, and other stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Data Management, Data Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Data Management, Data Analytics
Preferred Education: Advanced Degree
Preferred certification: DAMA Certified Data Management Professional-Practitioner (CDMP-P)
Understanding of data warehousing and transformation methods, lineage documentation, and ETL processes
Knowledge of data spreadsheets and databases
Understanding of Base SAS programming, SAS Enterprise Guide, Cognos, or related programs
Ability to write SAS programming language
