Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of associates facilitating technical innovation and continuous improvement through enterprise data management
Direct initiatives improving enterprise data quality, governance, reporting, and analytics
Provide expert guidance and leadership to associates, management, lines of business, and project teams
Oversee Enterprise Data Warehouse activities, including creation and maintenance of technical documentation
Lead projects and process improvements enhancing the quality, management, and storage of enterprise data
Direct profiling, exception reporting, data analysis, issue resolution, and general Enterprise Data Warehouse fixes
Delegate work tasks and adjust assignments to ensure appropriate data governance
Create enterprise-wide data policies and procedures
Oversee data validation and reporting to ensure data quality and completeness before business use
Modify Enterprise Data Warehouse processes to enhance efficiencies
Establish and monitor expectations to achieve company and department goals
Manage performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff
Provide professional development to maximize department achievements
Facilitate implementation of process improvements and strategies developing the Bank's data management capabilities
Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies and trends impacting the financial service industry

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Risk Management including Enterprise Data Warehouse OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Risk Management including Enterprise Data Warehouse
Understanding of data warehousing and transformation
Understanding of extract, transform, and load processes
Knowledge of technologies and trends impacting the financial service and insurance industry
Experience in Banking, Regulatory, Data Warehouse/Data Lakes, AWS/Snowflake
Proven track record of leading agile data product delivery across cross-functional teams using agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban
Domain expertise in Commercial Bank – Treasury Management and Liquidity Solutions, Global Banking
Knowledge of Cognos and SAS
Ability to write and understand SAS programming language
