Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of associates facilitating technical innovation and continuous improvement through enterprise data management
Direct initiatives enhancing enterprise data quality, governance, reporting, analytics, and data stewardship
Support Commercial Banking businesses, especially Enterprise Lending and Enterprise Cards
Oversee Enterprise Data Warehouse activities, including data integration, lineage, controls, and documentation
Lead projects and process improvements for enterprise data quality, management, and storage
Direct profiling, exception reporting, data analysis, issue resolution, and Enterprise Data Warehouse fixes
Delegate work and adjust activities to ensure appropriate data governance
Create enterprise-wide data policies and procedures
Oversee data validation and reporting for data quality and completeness
Create and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouse technical documentation
Improve Enterprise Data Warehouse processes and efficiencies
Establish and monitor team expectations and goals
Manage performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff
Provide professional development and serve as an expert data resource
Facilitate data management strategies and process improvements
Monitor emerging technologies and trends affecting financial services and insurance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience in Risk Management including Enterprise Data Warehouse, OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Risk Management including Enterprise Data Warehouse
Understanding of data warehousing and transformation and extract, transform, and load processes
Knowledge of Cognos and SAS
Ability to write and understand SAS programming language
Knowledge of technologies and trends impacting the financial service and insurance industry
Experience in Banking, Regulatory, Data Warehouse/Data Lakes, AWS/Snowflake
Proven track record of leading agile data product delivery across cross-functional teams using Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban
Domain expertise in Commercial Bank – Enterprise Lending and Enterprise Cards
