About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide complex technical support to Hogan application development and support systems
Enhance software and processes to improve data-processing capabilities
Analyze, code, test, and implement software in coordination with management, associates, and end users
Evaluate and improve department systems, processes, and applications
Construct modules, develop testing methods, and design materials using programming specifications
Provide feature time estimates and assist with implementing system modifications
Execute test plans to validate application functions
Collect data for user requests and determine scope, time estimates, and system impacts
Inspect business and programming specifications, coding, test plans, documentation, and implementation plans for accuracy
Support production systems by resolving reported issues, anticipating maintenance requirements, and ensuring end-user functionality
Draft technical, system, end-user, and operational documentation
Participate in the software development life cycle, including creation, enhancement, implementation, and evaluation
Serve as a technical resource for management, associates, and business units
Provide 24/7 on-call support through rotating assignments
May oversee less experienced analysts or assist with special projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance
Experience with Hogan (CIS, RPM, IDS, DDA, TDA, PAS, Umbrella)
Advanced experience with COBOL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, Easytrieve, and JCL
Experience with ServiceNow or another information technology ticketing system
In-depth knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodology (Waterfall and Agile)
Ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on a rotating basis
Hogan Core Banking, Debit and Credit Cards experience is a plus
Familiarity with Changeman source code repository is a plus
Previous banking experience is a plus
Ability to build strong collaborative and productive relationships
