About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate as part of a dynamic team on interesting projects
Conduct research, analytics, projects, strategy, process review and improvement, and technology enhancements and support
Attend professional development sessions, informational sessions, networking, and community service events
Work with a dedicated manager and program manager throughout the internship
Complete an assigned project to improve a specific process or solve a problem
Present the assigned project at the close of the internship
Prepare and deliver a wrap-up presentation to the division leader and key stakeholders outlining accomplishments and internship experience
Apply classroom knowledge in a corporate banking environment
Compile and interpret financial data and analyze trends
Produce insights that help drive business practices
Produce reports based on data analysis, company trends, and financial processes
Communicate financial and data analysis results in written and verbal form
Help streamline and automate processes into efficient, repeatable workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience
Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution during the summer program
Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program
Within a commutable drivable distance to the Raleigh, NC office
Current Junior or rising Senior preferred
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics with focuses in Data Science or Data Analytics preferred
3.0 minimum GPA preferred
Strong desire to learn and grow preferred
Positive attitude, curiosity, and collaboration preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred
Critical thinking skills preferred
Ability to multitask preferred
Ability to adapt and adjust priorities based on business needs preferred
Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly preferred
