About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Underwriting and Portfolio teams in analyzing and underwriting new and existing cash flow transactions
  • Conduct initial due diligence and develop investment theses
  • Perform risk mitigation analysis
  • Analyze historical trends and financeable EBITDA
  • Build financial models, including cash flow projections, DCF analysis, transaction and trading comparables, and deleveraging analysis
  • Participate in legal negotiations and documentation
  • Monitor post-closing credit performance
  • Work on live transactions as part of a Deal Team
  • Conduct company and industry due diligence
  • Prepare credit memoranda
  • Perform portfolio management activities
  • Participate in internal credit approval meetings and client/customer calls as appropriate
  • Attend professional development, informational, networking, and community service events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED and 1 years' experience
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution during the summer program
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the program
  • Preferred minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Preferred rising senior status (May 2028 graduation)
  • Preferred pursuit of a bachelor’s degree with a major/concentration in finance, accounting, or economics
  • Strong desire to learn and grow
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to adapt and adjust priorities based on business needs
