About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Learn to deliver Middle Market banking products and services, including loans, deposits, treasury management services, interest rate products, capital markets, wealth management, and other fee income business
- Focus on credit framework and analysis
- Learn the prospecting process to acquire new clients and expand existing client relationships
- Participate in research, analytics, projects, strategy, process review and improvement, and technology enhancements and support
- Attend professional development sessions, informational meetings, networking, and community service events
- Work with a dedicated manager and program manager
- Complete an assigned business-aligned project to improve a process or solve a problem
- Present the project to local leaders and key stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver a wrap-up presentation to the division leader and other key stakeholders outlining accomplishments and internship experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience
- Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution during the summer program
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the program
- Adaptability
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Preferred: Major in Finance or Business
- Preferred: Rising college senior
- Preferred: 3.0 minimum GPA
- Preferred: Excel, PowerPoint and Word proficiency
- Preferred: Strong desire to learn and grow
- Preferred: Positive attitude, natural curiosity, and enjoyment of collaboration
- Preferred: Ability to multitask, take direction, and absorb information quickly
