About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build a new home health care agency while working predominantly from home
  • Oversee licensure, credentialing, hiring, and day-to-day management of home health aides and nursing staff
  • Direct and oversee clinical teams to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality home care services
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of clinical staff
  • Conduct supervisory visits, performance evaluations, and mentorship
  • Oversee patient care plans and coordinate care delivery
  • Assign clinicians to cases
  • Perform patient admissions, reassessments, and supervisory visits as needed
  • Provide education and support to families and caregivers
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and nursing standards
  • Manage clinical documentation and medical records
  • Conduct chart reviews and quality assurance activities
  • Assist with licensure and credentialing processes
  • Contribute to strategic planning and develop clinical policies and procedures
  • Participate in marketing and community outreach
  • Assist with resource management and maintain supplies and equipment
  • Participate in the clinical on-call rotation and provide after-hours phone support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 2 years in homecare and 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of home health regulations, reimbursement sources, and documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and home health software systems
  • Current CPR certification
  • Licensed driver with insured vehicle as per Georgia state requirements
