About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, implement, manage, and communicate data collection and analysis efforts for state, Tribal, and municipal clients
- Support research plans and proposals
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research using surveys, interviews, focus groups, policy and document reviews, and public datasets
- Clean, organize, and analyze data collected by FCF or its partners
- Produce accurate, user-friendly reports, charts, and graphs
- Create and maintain user documentation and internal process guides
- Learn and use new technologies, software, data types, and analysis tools as needed
- Oversee aspects of day-to-day project management, including facilitating meetings, scheduling, updating project plans, communicating with clients, and ensuring timely deliverables
- Develop and implement program evaluations to inform program improvement and measure impact
- Provide training, consulting, and technical assistance on data collection, analysis, dashboards, evaluation, and reporting
- Present data findings to external clients and partners
- Collaborate with clients and partners to understand data needs and ensure ethical and culturally competent data standards
- Manage time allocation reports and client, partner, and funder data
- Participate in organizational and National Systems Team learning sessions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience in public policy and administration, nonprofit program design and evaluation, research, evaluation, or consulting
- Demonstrated experience with research, including document review and data collection methodologies
- Excellence in written, verbal, and visual communications skills
- Ability to work sensitively and effectively with adults of diverse educational, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds
- Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive business data and information
- Working knowledge of ECE-related politics, policies, and funding streams at the local, state, federal, and Tribal level, or ability to rapidly attain this knowledge
- Preferred experience with statistical analysis and common statistical software packages
- Preferred experience with GIS or other mapping software
- Spanish fluency preferred
