About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Load bank electronic check files daily
- Process multiple third-party administrator receivables and payables
- Review, research, and monitor bank account activity under the direction of the department manager
- Compile school, carrier, and refund checks through remote deposit into the TPA Trust account
- Load bank electronic cleared check files daily into the proprietary billing system
- Maintain voided check procedures according to department guidelines
- Research transaction discrepancies and keep business transaction data up to date
- Review bank notices and research transaction errors
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Dynamics CRM)
- Two (2) years accounting/bank reconciliation experience
- Strong customer service skills and a proven track record of handling sensitive client information
- High level of administrative competence
- Knowledge of general benefit plan terminology highly preferred
- Knowledge of the K-12 market benefits highly preferred
- Time management and organization skills
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to present to small groups
- Strong sense of urgency
- Strong interpersonal skills; diplomatic and tactful
