About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Source promising pre-seed startups through various channels
Lead initial screening calls with startup founders independently
Manage incoming startup applications and communicate with important internal and external stakeholders
Accompany startups through the investment process, from sourcing through due diligence to completed investment
Participate in Investment Committee meetings
Conduct deep dives into various topics and present findings to the team
Support the investor relations team with inquiries and projects
Assist Partners with portfolio support activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong academical background in economics, technology or a related field
Practical experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in the startup industry
Exceptional analytical skills
Highly motivated and consistently deliver above average performance
Comfortable working independently and tackling ambitious projects
Curious, convincing, and reflective
Enjoy communicating with startup founders and team members
Passionate about the startup industry and venture capital
Full working proficiency in German and English
