About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting
Reconcile accounts and independently prepare monthly financial statements
Assist with annual financial statements, with the opportunity to take over their preparation independently
Prepare VAT returns and EC Sales Lists
Handle collections and payment transactions
Carry out liquidity planning
Contribute to process optimization in the accounting department
Provide technical guidance to a financial accountant
Take on special assignments for management
Contribute to the further development of the controlling function

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least three years of experience in a comparable or similar role
Proficient working knowledge of DATEV
Very good spoken and written German skills
Previous management experience is not required
Willingness to pursue professional development
Team-oriented approach
Willingness to learn and take on additional controlling responsibilities
