About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the financial accounting function for the parent company and its subsidiaries
- Manage and provide expert support to a team of five employees
- Take responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Support the team with day-to-day accounting activities
- Contribute to further process optimization, including through the use of AI
- Take on additional responsibilities based on your experience, expertise, and interests
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least four years of professional experience in a comparable role, including preparing financial statements independently
- Experience in process optimization in conjunction with the use of AI
- Very good spoken and written German skills
- Experience in functional or disciplinary team leadership is not required
- Willingness to pursue professional development and work collaboratively as part of a team
