About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead multiple projects through all phases of planning, design, construction, and closeout
  • Develop project charters, schedules, budgets, and execution plans
  • Monitor project performance, scope, schedule, and financial metrics
  • Identify and manage project risks, changes, and out-of-scope requests
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, owners, and project stakeholders
  • Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities for future work
  • Support business development efforts and project pursuits
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and resources
  • Establish internal milestones and drive accountability for deliverables
  • Facilitate communication between clients, project partners, and internal teams
  • Address technical challenges proactively
  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, site visits, and field activities during construction
  • Partner with construction administration staff to maintain responsiveness and project momentum
  • Provide technical guidance and project leadership to engineering teams
  • Promote innovative solutions and support thought leadership and industry involvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
  • 10+ years of experience managing engineering or building systems projects
  • EIT, PE, LEED, or other professional credentials preferred
  • Strong understanding of building systems and project delivery processes
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, scopes, and client relationships
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing priorities
