About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer telephone calls from customers inquiring about clients’ goods and services
- Provide high-quality, helpful, and professional customer service
- Assist with inquiries regarding debit card incentives, orders, and balances
- Manage large volumes of inbound calls in a timely manner
- Follow communication scripts for different topics
- Identify customer needs, clarify information, research, and provide solutions or alternatives
- Access company and client resources to handle calls accurately
- Upsell products when opportunities arise
- Switch between tasks efficiently while maintaining composure
- Maintain desk availability, punctuality, and attendance during scheduled times
- Remain positive and professional in customer interactions
- Cross-train as requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous 3–6 months of customer service or customer support experience preferred
- Previous 3–6 months of call center or office background experience is a plus
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills with active listening
- Must be 18 years of age
- Background check required in accordance with state and federal laws
- Must live in Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming
- Must provide own computer equipment and workspace
- Verified secure, reliable, dedicated high-speed internet service
- Established dedicated work area with desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection
- Intel Core i5-8250U processor or greater
- 8GB memory on Windows 10 or 11 64-bit
- Screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher
- Dual monitors required
- USB DSP headset
- Laptop or desktop required; Chromebooks, netbooks, and tablets are not accepted
- Up-to-date antivirus software installed and recent scan completed
- Firewall enabled
- Hardwired connection to modem or router; Wi-Fi or extenders are not permitted
