About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer telephone calls from customers inquiring about clients' goods and services
- Provide high-quality service with a helpful, professional attitude
- Assist customers with inquiries on debit card incentives, orders, and balances
- Manage large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner
- Follow communication scripts when handling different topics
- Identify customer needs, clarify information, research, and provide solutions or alternatives
- Access company and client resources to accurately handle calls
- Upsell products when opportunities arise
- Switch between tasks without losing efficiency or composure
- Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times
- Remain positive and professional in customer interactions
- Cross-train as requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous 3-6 months customer service or customer support experience preferred
- Previous 3-6 months call center or office background experience a plus
- Basic computer skills
- Quick learner and able to work independently
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
- Must be 18 years of age
- A background check applicable with state and federal laws will be required
- Must live in one of these states: Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming
- Must provide own equipment and workspace
- Verified secure, reliable, dedicated high-speed internet service
- Established dedicated work area with desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection
- Intel Core i5-8250U Series processor or greater
- 8GB memory on Windows 10 or 11 64-bit
- Screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher
- Dual monitors
- USB DSP headset
- Laptop or desktop required; no Chromebooks, netbooks, or tablets
- Up-to-date antivirus software installed and recent scan completed
- Firewall enabled
- Hardwired connection to modem or router; no Wi-Fi or extenders
- Must be available to work on the first and last business day of each month
