About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer telephone calls from customers inquiring about clients’ goods and services
- Provide high-quality service with a helpful, professional attitude
- Assist clients with inquiries about debit card incentives, orders, and balances
- Manage large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner
- Follow communication scripts when handling different topics
- Identify customer needs, clarify information, research, and provide solutions or alternatives
- Access company and client resources to accurately handle calls
- Upsell products when opportunities arise
- Transition between tasks efficiently and calmly
- Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times
- Remain positive and professional in customer interactions
- Cross-train as requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous 3–6 months customer service or customer support experience preferred
- Previous 3–6 months call center or office background experience a plus
- Basic computer skills
- Quick learner and able to work independently
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills with active listening
- Must be 18 years of age
- Background check required in accordance with state and federal laws
- Must live in Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming
- Must provide own equipment and workspace
- Verified secure, reliable, dedicated high-speed internet required
- Dedicated work area with desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection
- Intel Core i5-8250U series processor or greater
- 8GB memory on Windows 10 or 11 64-bit
- Screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher
- Dual monitors required
- USB DSP headset
- Laptop or desktop required; Chromebooks, netbooks, and tablets not accepted
- Up-to-date antivirus software installed and recent scan completed
- Firewall enabled
- Hardwired modem or router connection; Wi-Fi or extenders not permitted
- Must be available on the first and last business day of each month
Benefits
Comp & perks- Shift differential: extra $1/hr for nights and weekends
- Paid training, typically 2–5 days from 8:00am–5:00pm CST
- Full-time or part-time temporary scheduling
